Lazada

Founded in 2012, Lazada is a leading and fast-growing e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia that connects local consumers with local SMEs and regional and global brands. Lazada serves over 100 million annual active consumers.


We thank Lazada’s team for their help and fantastic support in creating this corporate film. This video is a story of making a film against the odds.

Lazada is a considerable online presence in South East Asia.  So Taipan Media was very proud to create this brand film for a company that is creating opportunities for all walks of life to enjoy the digital transformation that is taking place.


The challenge was to incorporate freshly shot footage on location in Hong Kong alongside Lazada’s library to create an interesting visual and business case. We cast and scouted locations for small vignettes of user cases in different environments to present the SEA regions people.


The interface animations were created from screen captures and represent the different country apps used in 2021.

With Lazada’s support from different country teams, help we created six different language versions. English, Bahasa, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Malay.
